Fahrenheit 451 Q&A Part 1

-The society Montag lives in is cold and lonely.  There society is similar to ours because they rely so much on television like ourselves. This is a dystopia because peopl dont hink for themselves and barley know each other.

- I think what makes clarisse so special is that she really lookd at the world and trys to learn about people.I think montag was influenced by her because there was a small part of him that new there was something wrong.

-the mechanical hound was programmed to react to montag maybe because the other firemen new he was susceptible to influence.

-i think the woman burned herself with her books because she had so much passion for them and didnt was to live without them in a controlling society.

-i think the author describes the Tv because it shows how influenced it has become in peoples lives. I think the author describes the great sound of tv to symbolize that montag has broke out of the spell

-I think what's shocking and disturbing about the way Montag found out clarisse is how little care was involved. Mildred didnt seem to be affected or shocked at all.

-Montag gets sick and dosent go to work because he stole a book and dosent know what to do.

-I think the fact that montag has books shows he feels there is something wrong in his society. He may have books because he's curious to learn.

-Beatty describes society as being good without books poking holes in peoples lives.  He thinks people with books arent happy.

-Mildred believes she is happy because of the things she has.

-When he met clarisse and seeing the lady burn

-some examples of foreshadowing would be how Beatty talks to Montag when hes sick and lectures &im symbolizing he knows Montag has a book. Another example is when they hear electronic sounds coming from outside the door  when they are reading and it is really the mechanical hound.

-

-

-I predict Montag will possibly go crazy or even fight back against the firemen n
