Fahrenheit 451 questions
Fahrenheit 451 questions HW
Describe Montag at the beginning of the novel. Do you think he's a hero? Why/not?
1) Montag is a fireman who sets fires. He seems to like his job and dosent have any complaints. I don't think hes a hero due to the fact that i know what he is doing is wrong. However this is what he knows and dosent realize its bad.
Describe Bradbury's tone. What is his attitude toward the characters, the topics, and the audience? How can you tell?
2) Bradbury went really into depth with this story and i think his tone is serious or worried. His attitude tword the topic seems to be worried about the future because he predicts alot of the things we do now and some of them aren't positive .For example he predicted non caring health care which is how it works today.
3) Bradbury uses simple terms that are relatable. Some of his sentences do vary in length. Sometimes it goes from a shot sentence to a long one.Bradbury gives the characters senses or feelings that we get in real life which makes you feel like you are there. He goes into great detail to give you a good idea of whats happening.
